Swedish melodic heavy metal masters LION'S SHARE have announced the addition of singer Patrik Johansson (ASTRAL DOORS) to the group's ranks. Johansson and the rest of the current LION'S SHARE lineup - which includes mainman Lars Chriss (guitar), and recent addition Sampo Axelsson (bass; ex-GLENN HUGHES, CRAWLEY) - are currently writing material for a fifth album to be released sometime during 2006. The songs written so far are being described as "heavier and more straight-ahead with tons of energy and attitude." In a statement confirming his addition to the LION'S SHARE lineup, Johansson writes, "Lars Chriss called me up about two years ago and asked if I was interested in joining LION'S SHARE. I felt honored, of course, and didn't need any second thoughts; LION'S SHARE is, for me, one of the institutions in the metal business.

The Dutch heavy metal band GraveDroid is back! After the last line-up fell apart, it only took one week to build a new one. From that time they went full speed ahead.
The GraveDroid members are now: Mike Phyrus(vocals), KC Savage(guitars), Johnny Heart(bass) and Bruce Baze(drums). In barely three months time new songs were written, rehearsed and recorded.
The band concept was also totally renewed. The result of all this work can be heard and seen on 'Rebellious Obsession'. This CD contains three songs, which showcase the different sides of the band. The songs sound fresh and are a appetizer for the future. The style of the band could be called melodic heavy metal. For those are who interested, you can listen to mp3 versions at the site below. "Taken"! There are only few people in the music business who can look back on such an impressive professional career as TOMMY DENANDER. The artists Tommy played with reads like the WHO IS WHO of Rock. In 2005 and for the 3rd year in a row Tommy has placed a song in the Eurovision song contest, in 2003 he competed in Sweden, in 2004 in Finland and in 2005 it was time for Norway!
Recently he has written the music theme to a big Swedish music TV program called "POP IN" that started in August for the biggest music show called "VOXPOP". MTM are proud to announce the signing of ex-BLACK SABBATH singer TONY MARTIN for his second solo album! As a singer, TONY MARTIN has worked on many projects, the most famous being BLACK SABBATH on cult albums like “Headless Cross” and “Eternal Idol”. Statetrooper UK tour. Gary Barden returns to the live stage with his band, STATETROOPER in October 2005. The band, which also features Jeff Summers (Weapon), Bruce Bisland (Sweet) Gavin Cooper (Killers) and Martin Mikkels, will be performing four shows in the UK, supported by British melodic rock band, Deadline. The tour is in support of their new single "Don't Say Goodbye" which is taken from their critically acclaimed album "The Calling". The single is released on October 31st. The dates are: October 7th London Garage, October 9th Stourbridge Rock Café, October 15th Bradford Rios, October 16th Nuneaton Queens Hall. Statetrooper recently issued their album as an official download (as well as being released in the stores worldwide) and managed to spend a few weeks in the Weed Top 10 download charts. The band are planning a world tour for 2006, encompassing Europe, USA and Asia, and will be recording their new studio album. They have also recorded their recent appearance at the Sweden Rock Festival, which will see the band releasing a DVD and a live album.

For the last couple of months Sonic X has first and foremost been doing some major writing. They have been going through arrangements and re writes to get their new songs just right. All early indications from those that have heard the new material, point to a very strong follow-up CD. Recording time for the second release from Sonic X has been booked for the early part of November, finishing around the holidays for an early 2006 release and possible appearance in the UK. The Band has been negotiating with a couple of agencies about playing some live shows in the spring/ summer of 06' and have also started talking to Video Production Companies about ideas for a couple of videos. Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of the SEVENTH KEY
"Live In Atlanta" CD and DVD on november 7th 2005. SEVENTH KEY is the successful band / project put together by KANSAS bass player and singer Billy Greer together with his former STREETS bandmate Mike Slamer. The idea of a live album and of a DVD came when Frontiers Records President, Serafino Perugino, got a look on the band's videos for the songs "An Ocean Away" and "Love Train"; songs originally included on the SEVENTH KEY second album "The Raging Fire". He therefore approached director Nicole Slamer, Mike's daughter, to shoot a live DVD for SEVENTH KEY. On May 23rd the recording for the live concert DVD/CD was completed. For the first time in almost 22 years Mike Slamer performed live again. The recording was done at Crossover Entertainment Group Inc. in Atlanta, in front of selected friends, invited guests and families.
Joining the duo Greer/Slamer live on stage are former STRANGEWAYS singer Terry Brock on guitars and background vocals, David Manion on keyboards and drummer Pat McDonald. Guest appearances came from KANSAS violinist Robby Steinhardt and Billy's brother Johnny Greer, both joining the band for a breathtaking acoustic version of the song "Forsaken". Featuring rousing live performances of songs from the band's previous two studio albums, SEVENTH KEY's first ever live concert DVD/CD is a true enrichment for any Melodic Rock collection. Also included is bonus studio material for the cd (including the only collaboration between Billy Greer and former KANSAS mastermind Kerry Livgren on "Remember You Well") and 3 bonus videos and exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage on the DVD. The DVD, apart from the entire concert footage, includes bonus music video

*DREAMS YOU´LL NEVER SEE - You know when you´re in love with the "wrong" girl/boy and you don´t realize that she/he is an a-hole until it´s over. This song was actually an instrumental 'til I realized that it would work with vocals,too... well even better he,he. One of my favorite songs on the Album! *FROZEN HEART - Imagine you have lost all your faith and hope and suddenly from clear blue sky she/he finds the way to your frozen heart. One day Mülli came up with a Demo which he had recorded at home.Johan and I did some changes on it and here it is... a straight Rock song with a huge riff. *HOLE IN MY HEART - This is when you´re with someone and it´s like fire and ice. It´s heaven and at the same time hell and you know you´re gonna crash and burn. This is a very old song which I've just "overworked" a little bit. I like the mix of the ballad-like verse parts and the Heavy bridge/chorus. A great stadium rocker with a catchy hook. *LOVE AND DESIRE - This is about all those intollerant and narrow-minded cowards who´s scared and wants to forbid everything they don´t understand or like. I think this one is not a usual Jaded Heart song and in my opinion that's what makes it exciting. We tried on every Album some different stuff and this is the one on "*HELLUVA TIME". A HUGE riff , big chorus... groovy baby ;-)) *LOVE TO LIVE - It´s a pure love song to my black lady... hey for f**k’s sake it´s humour ;-) Johan came up with this one... I wrote the riff, we put it together and... here it is: a fast forward rocker. Put it in your stereo, crank up the volume and hit the gas-pedal and have fun! *NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW - Well, it´s obvious where we´re going and from my point of view we have to do something now! Actually I wrote this one for the band "FARO". After a while I realized that it didn't fit so well to the rest of the songs on the FARO-Album. A very melodic rock song in the style of "Burning Heart" from "TRUST". *SHORES OF PARADISE - This one is a continuation to "no one seems...". Ignorance and indifference seem to characterize the politics nowadays. When we started writing for this Album, we thought this one has to be the opening song. Well,what should I say... never make decisions before the rest of the songs aren't finished ah, ah... This one includes a great solo of our swedish friend Tommy Denander. He played the intro-lead guitar and the second part of the main solo-duel. Thanks Dude! *SOMEWHERE - You´ve "been there and done that" but you´ve never lost it and you know that someday you´re gonna find it. Never give up hope! We played the riff of this one at rehearsal just for fun. And during the time in the studio we decided to work it out and record it. And here it is: a melodic rocksong with great choruses and a heavy kick-ass riff. *TOMORROW COMES - This is a complex one. Frustration, anger, love, hate, happiness, a complete mix of everything but in the end a great belief. I wrote this one almost three years ago and didn't want to use it for Jaded Heart 'cause of some kind of reason. Well, when Johan joined the Band I had to change my mind... his voice just fits perfect to this song. Great opener... I really love this one. *WHO´S FOOLING - When you´re in love to be in love. So, who´s fooling who? A really old one again,but...of course I did some changes on it. A straight forward rocker with a huge chorus. Kicks ass ;-)) *WITHOUT YOU - And if you have been in love and made some wrong decisions, then you know how it feels. The love of your life is gone, but it's too late to turn back time. Frontiers Records is delighted to announce the signing of BRUCE TURGON for the worldwide release of his debut solo album "Outside Looking In". Bruce's career started with the band BLACK SHEEP, together with Lou Gramm on lead vocals. When Gramm was called to join the multi-million selling band FOREIGNER, Bruce wrote, recorded and toured with bands like BILLY THORPE, PRISM and WARRIOR. Eventually, his long time association with best friend Gramm led to the writing and recording of Gramm's first solo effort "Ready Or Not", yielding the US hit single, "Midnight Blue". In between the recording of Gramm's second album, "Long Hard Look" and its subsequent tour, Bruce also toured with Billy Idol's guitar player Steve Stevens in support
of his solo album, "Atomic Playboys". In 1991 he and Gramm formed - together with Vivian Campbell (Dio, Whitesnake, Def Leppard) and drummer Kevin Valentine - the critically acclaimed band SHADOW KING, with Bruce co-writing nine of the ten tracks on the album, as well as handling multiple instrument, arrangement and programming duties. In 1992, when Lou Gramm rejoined FOREIGNER, Bruce
covered the bass position vacated by the departing Rick Wills. FOREIGNER released "Mr. Moonlight" in 1995, with several songs co-written by Bruce, including the single "Until The End Of Time" and with them he toured steadily from 1992 to 2002.
| The bus wheels have finally ground to a halt and Turgon has welcomed the opportunity to kick back and start fleshing out some new material for his first solo album on Frontiers Records. "It's something that's been talked about for a long time, but I was generally too busy to commit to doing", says Bruce. "I felt the time was right and that i was in a good place artistically to embrace it". Entitled "Outside Looking In", Turgon's record of course features former
band-mate Lou Gramm, co-writing three songs with Bruce and providing backing vocals. But apart from this, Bruce Turgon took the responsibility of the rest of the songwriting and makes his debut as a fine singer as well. "I just wanted to make a good album, the way I hear it", concludes Turgon. "All of the high exposure bands or projects that I've been involved with have
been collaborations, which can be great, but generally means compromise to some degree. With this album I just did what I wanted". Musicians featured on the album are Denny Carmassi on drums (Heart / Whitesnake / Foreigner / Montrose), Rocket Ritchotte on lead guitar (David Lee Roth / Stan Bush / Cher / Rick Springfield), Scott McKinstry on lead guitar (Lou Gramm Band), Ronnie Montrose on lead guitar, Ricky Philips, Tom Gimbel and of course Lou Gramm on backing vocals.

RPWL are announcing for this weekend: RPWL-special-concert-week-end in D-Aschaffenburg (2th September) and D-Reichenbach (3th September)! Special guest on both evenings: ex-drummer Phil Paul "R" Rissettio! In Aschaffenburg the band will be playing a historical selection of their repertoire. Both ancient (even a VIOLET DISTRICT-Song!) and seldom played songs, as well as cover versions are to be performed. The latest album of course won't fall into oblivion. This week's biggest grossing US film is "40 Year Old Virgin", a riotous
comedy starring Steve Carell [star of the US version of BBC's award winning "The Office"], which has opened in the UK this week amid great expectations. As the title suggests, the film charts the progress of 40 year-old Andy Stitzer who has never had sex. Andy's walls are adorned with posters of the British super group Asia, whose self titled album was the biggest selling
album in the world in 1982, number 1 in the USA for 9 weeks and critically recognised as a masterpiece of stadium rock. Even the Beatles could not boast a debut album reaching no.1 in USA. The Spice Girls repeated the feat in the nineties. "Heat of the Moment" was one of Asia's several hits, topping many worldwide singles charts. Its memorable intro, chorus hooks and general feel-good delivery are instantly recognisable and the song is prominently used in "40
Year Old Virgin" (ehem, is this really something to brag about???). "Heat of the Moment" is also featured in Pierce Brosnan's latest film, "The Matador" which is due for US release on November 4. John Wetton and Geoffrey Downes composed all of Asia's many hits during the eighties, a catalogue which endures through regular worldwide licensing to film, TV and compilation albums. 2005 saw the release of their widely acclaimed reunion project, "Icon", which saw the pair reunite with Universal records for the USA release, Marquee Avalon in Japan and Frontiers Records
in Europe. Frontiers Records scheduled the release of Wetton Downes' new single version
of "Heat of the Moment" on August 29. The success of "40 Year Old Virgin" has added to the newsworthy nature of this release, endorsing the value to the UK economy of the success of British music. John Wetton and Geoffrey Downes are planning a new DVD featuring acoustic treatment of their hit songs to be recorded in a very special location and with some very special guests this fall. Music producer Michael Morales, who is involved in divorce proceedings, has filed a criminal complaint against his wife with the Bexar County Sheriff's Department alleging forgery, fraud, conspiracy to defraud and theft of documents. An investigation into the allegations against Barbra Lynn Morales is in the preliminary stages, a department representative said. The Moraleses were before District Court Judge John Gabriel on Tuesday, the second day of their divorce trial. A visibly distraught Michael Morales answered questions about his federal prison conviction, his use of anti-depressants, his wife's cosmetic surgery expenditures and unaccounted proceeds from a $159,000, 19-acre land sale executed by his wife while he was in prison. Morales, a Grammy-winning record producer, was released earlier this year after serving 17 months of a 24-month prison sentence for attempting to blackmail gubernatorial candidate Tony Sanchez in 2002. On Monday in court, Morales' wife admitted having an affair while he was in prison. Morales filed his criminal complaint Monday night and made the forgery claim from the stand on Tuesday.
