Original vocalist Urban Breed has officially rejoined Bloodbound. The band released their last album with Michael Bormann on vocals, but he didn't play a single gig with the band.

ROYAL HUNT update
Royal Hunt is putting some very last, finishing touches on their new album (which will become a sequel to their critically acclaimed 1997 release “Paradox”) at NorthPoint Studio (check out the frequently updated Studio Diary at band's website). Among guest singers you’ll be able to hear contributions from Doogie White (Rainbow, Y.Malmsteen), Ian Parry (Elegy, Consortium Project), Kenny Lubcke (Narita) and Henrik Brockmann (ex-Royal Hunt, Evil Masquerade). Mixing will start in a few days at EMI/Medley Studios.
SWEDEN ROCK KICK OFF on web radio
Sweden Rock Kick Off at Tyrol in Stockholm November 24 will be broadcasted live
by Stockholm based rock channel, 106, 7 Rockklassiker. This means that it also will be sent through their web radio so that anyone in the world can listen to this years show. The show will start at 7 PM local time and
end when the party ends! The first 20-25 bands confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival

ERA VULGARIS relocate to UK and search for new members
A press release:
There are two reasons for this press release, two very important and
very big pieces of news for Era V. that I have been putting off making
public. The music industry is a difficult place to try and succeed.
The metal music industry is an almost impossible place to try and
succeed. The Irish metal music industry is a dead-end place to try
and succeed. Era V. is an essential part of my life, writing,
recording, performing music.metal music is something I can not stop
doing. What I can stop is trying to do it in Ireland.
So Era Vulgaris are moving home, moving to find larger audiences, more
cities and bigger opportunities.we are moving to the birthplace of
heavy metal, just over the water to the United Kingdom.London,
England, as they call it in the US. The nightmare logistics of trying
to organise tours from an Irish base in support of our album "What
Stirs Within" proved insurmountable when combined with some internal
issues. There is no room in the music industry for anything less than
100% commitment. So here is how this happened, and this will also
explain the second piece of news;
For years I have known that to reach the standard and level of musical
success we are aiming for that we would have to leave Ireland. The
decision to move always fell into second place behind other members'
commitments to jobs or girlfriends or just being comfortable where
they were familiar. While I wasn't exactly happy with this situation,
as long as everyone was working on the music and helping to create the
Era Vulgaris sound then at least we were being productive.
Unfortunately this situation changed dramatically in the months before
and after the release of "What Stirs Within". There was no focus on
perfection, no pride, no preparation and no creation. But I kept
quiet, I hoped that with the album release things would change, that
as our fan base built, an excitement would come back into the band.
Instead, as time went by I found that I was doing more and more,
setting up Open Your Ears Music to release the album on, securing
distribution deals, organising live shows and writing new material.
Apart from Dave's assistance whenever required, the work I was putting
in was rewarded in no way; no thanks, no support and most importantly
no one working on the band. The brief Irish tour we played in August
was a disaster, an embarrassment - now not only was touring in Europe
a logistical nightmare but by the looks of things it would be a
musical nightmare too. For me that was the last straw, I was no
longer in a band that had a passion for music or that had the pride
and dedication in their work to make sure they were ready for each
show.
So two months ago I decided I was going to leave the country. I told
Dave, I told Jim and I told Chris Con. I explained my reasons in
full, that I wanted to do everything I could to spend as much of my
time as possible working in music and that I had to leave Ireland to
do that. I didn't say I was breaking the band up, I didn't kick
anyone out of the band, I merely stated what I felt I had to do. And
then I waited. And what happened next was exactly what I knew would
happen. Dave came to me and said that he wanted to come too, that he
was still as fully committed to the band as he had been when the two
of us first started playing together. It was not for me to ask anyone
else to come or not to come, I can but now assume what I have guessed
to be true for months; simply that their priorities lie elsewhere.
And that is the simple explanation for why things had been going wrong
- there were no fights, no arguing, just mismatched goals!
When we were at our best the four of us created some of the best and
most unique heavy metal to ever come out of Ireland, I'm sad to see
those days disappear and wish Jim and Chris Con the best in whatever
ventures they seek out, but we also look forward to new challenges
with new members in our new home in London, England.
So spread the word, early in 2008 Era V. will set up camp in the UK
and as of now we are actively seeking the most open-minded, talented
and demented lead guitarist and drummer we can find to continue on
this metal path to continually create heavy metal that is like nothing
else you've ever heard.
Thank you to all our fans for your incredible support, your words of
praise and encouragement are what drive us more than ever to continue
what we started.

RALF SCHEEPERS signs a solo deal with Frontiers
Best known for being the singer of German Power Metal legends PRIMAL FEAR, Ralf cut his teeth with TYRAN PACE first and GAMMA RAY later, the band that he put up together with former HELLOWEEN guitar player Kai Hansen.
World renowned for his amazing range and high-pitched singing voice, sometimes reminiscent of Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, Scheepers finally decided to work on a solo album. “It is definitely going to be a Metal album, but I will surely explore some different sounds and ways to exploit my voice”, says the German singer who is right now touring with PRIMAL FEAR throughout the world in support of their chartbreaker album NEW RELIGION. “I will call a few friends and guests, which will make this record a very special one, but all details will be revealed at a later stage”.
The solo album will be recorded during the winter 2008 under the direction of Scheeper’s bandmate in Primal Fear Mat Sinner with additional input by Scheepers himself, Achim Koehler and Charlie Bauerfeind. The label looks for a release during the summer of next year.
On a related note PRIMAL FEAR’s latest opus “New Religion” entered the charts in Japan on Pos. 37 and on the overall Top 200 charts on Pos. 116. Congratulations to the band for this amazing new achievement !
HOUSE OF LORDS finish recordings of their new album
Recording sessions of the brand new HOUSE OF LORDS album “Come To My Kingdom” have been completed in Florida and mixing stages have started in the hands of Dennis Ward.
The new album is a natural progression from "World Upside Down" and was entirely written by the band along with the “5th Lord” Jeff Kent.
In the words of James Christian “We really had an amazing time with this new CD. I can't remember when things flowed so easily in terms of writing and recording. I think when people hear the new record they will be able to tell immediately that this is a band with direction and vision”.
The songs were written from life experiences that cover a range of emotions. But one common thread flows throughout the record and that is finely crafted songs.
“Jimi Bell, BJ Zampa and Chris McCarvil and Jeff Kent have been an absolute joy to work with” continues Christian, “They are my brothers and they share the same passion to write and perform Classic Rocks songs that will stand the test of time”.

Alexa Christina Toivonen is her name, and in keeping with hard rockin' traditions, she was flexing her vocal cords throughout the christening ceremony at the chapel.
The proud parents Kimmo Toivonen and Mira Suutari-Toivonen say "thank you" to those numerous people who have congratulated them, and promise to make sure that their little princess will be raised on a healthy diet of melodic rock and metal!

IRON MAIDEN: THE BIGGEST ROCK TOUR OF THE NORDICS... EVER
EMA Telstar are delighted to announce the return of IRON MAIDEN to the Nordic countries next year with what will be the biggest Rock Tour that any band has EVER undertaken there. To tie in with forthcoming 2008 release on DVD of the classic 'LIVE AFTER DEATH' concert video (full details available soon on www.ironmaiden.com) this tour, aptly entitled the 'SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME -- WORLD TOUR 08", will revisit the band's history by focusing almost entirely on the 80's in both choice of songs played and the stage set, which will be based around the legendary Egyptian Production of the 1984-85 'Powerslave Tour'. This will arguably be the most elaborate and spectacular show the band have ever presented, and will include some key elements of their Somewhere In Time tour of 1986/7, such as the Cyborg Eddie.

The 'SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME' World Tour is in three sections, the travel for the first of which being by very unique means with the group customising a Boeing 757 aircraft, which will carry the band, their crew and over 12 tons of equipment from city to city. This first section of the tour opens in Mumbai India on Feb 1st, continuing through Australia and Japan before arriving in Los Angeles. The entourage then fly to Mexico then onto Maiden's first ever visit to Costa Rica and Columbia, then on to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rica and New York, before finishing in Toronto, Canada, on March 16th. Over the 45 day period on this leg alone the band is anticipated to play to well over 400,000 fans in 21 cities in 10 countries, flying close to 50,000 miles in this refitted 757 which will be flown largely by vocalist and Astraeus Airline Captain Bruce Dickinson.
Comments Bruce Dickinson, "Looking at the list of places we would like to play we have always had problems joining up the dots. But without having sea containers all over the place slowing down the whole touring process and by having our own plane it has made it far easier to tour distant places like Australia for the first time in15 years. We have already had a great reaction from fans there, where the arenas in Melbourne and Sydney sold out in 15 and 25 minutes respectively!"
On the subject of returning to Scandinavia and Finland, Bruce enthused,
"If his is going to be the biggest Rock tour in Nordic History we will just have to pull out all the stops to make it one of our best ever and make it truly record breaking in every sense. This is truly a great statement for Heavy Metal music.
I just wish it was happening next week!"
The second leg of the tour will be in mid-May to mid -June in North America, a final third leg which will include the Nordic dates, will take place in July and August in stadiums and major festivals around Europe. In total the band are expected to play to well in excess of one and a half million fans during the whole tour.

Recorded and filmed at the Olympia in Paris, France, this DVD/CD
celebrates 10 years of Blackmore's Night. For a decade, the award
singer/songwriter Candice Night, legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and
their fellow band of minstrels have crafted an enchanting folk/rock sound
that has earned them the devotion of fans around the globe. Over the
course of five internationally charting studio albums, several live and
compilation releases, they have truly perfected their signature blend of
musical styles.
Following global success with Deep Purple and Rainbow, Ritchie
Blackmore took a new musical direction in the mid-1990s and co-founded

LOST WEEKEND news
LOST WEEKEND's recent show that took place on Sunday 14th October
was a huge success. The event was put together to raise money for
the Special Baby Care Unit in Halifax, to thank them for their help
in caring for baby Ellis. Ellis was born prematually and only
weighed in at 1 pound. Ellis' father arrange the fund raiser day and
ask LOST WEEKEND to perform a special acoustic show during the
evening. The guys decided they could do more and penned a new tune
called ELLIS and produced a limited edition CD to help raise further
funds. The CD also contains three LOST WEEKEND classics, as well as
the new song.
The band played an excellent set and one which earned them a
standing ovation from the crowd, which included cast members of
Coronation Street and Emerdale.
The limited edition CD, ELLIS, is currently available to buy from
website - see the store for purchase details. This is limited to 500
copies and all monies raised from sales will be donated to the
Special Baby Care Unit in Halifax.

The finish Melodic Metal combo LEVERAGE has finished the production of the
yet untitled second album!
"We're very proud of the new album" states band's guitarist and main
composer Tuomas Heikkinen. "We've grown tighter as a band, we're more in
touch with what Leverage really is for us, and we sure pushed ourselves
writing, rehearsing and recording. The album has 10 melodic songs that
include the heaviest, most intense and on the other hand the most intimate
moments we've been able to capture so far. We feel 'Tides' was the best
thing we could come up with at that time, we believe the second album came

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of the Self-Titled
debut album from the US band ACTION on December 7th 2007! In Japan, the album is released by King Records.
Originally formed in 1985, Action is a long-time concept devised by acclaimed
guitarist / songwriter Chip of What Matters, Mars Hill and The Hitmen. The
band also features the soaring vocals of other former Mars Hill member Jack
Marques (Crossover, Unknown God) and the musical talents of bassist Chris
Sutherland, keyboardist Ruben Demello (Crossover, Unknown God), drummer
Chris Longo (Project Broken, Dirty Deeds, Hysteria, Promises) with
additional drums from Mark Duane (Trendkill, Paradox, Action, Touch,
Krankenstein).
As founder and guitarist for the band Action during the mid to late 80's,
Chip shared the stage with Quiet Riot, Firehouse, Slaughter, Rough Cutt and
Zebra among many others. As the musical landscape quickly changed in the
early 90's, Action split not to be heard from again until he collaborated
with singer / songwriter Jack Marques a decade later.
Between bands and life itself, both Chip and Jack had each individually
written and recorded a number of outstanding melodic rock tracks over the
years which ranged from 80's rock / metal to more modern adult oriented
rock. Each had always been saving these unused gems for some future project;
they just weren't sure what it would be.
What is certain, these gems are
fresh, melodic power rock - true to its 80's roots while delivering a modern
kick! Action is an infusion of Boston meets Journey with touches of
Whitesnake and Def Leppard. With this mix, Action delivers what rock fans
have been waiting a decade or more for - screaming melodic guitars, soaring
vocals, catchy choruses and rockin' beats.
Never feeling that Action was quite finished, in mid 2006, Chip approached
friend and manager Ron Vining about getting the project off the ground
again. In February 2007, Action were snapped up by Frontiers Records and the
album was delivered a few months later, with an artwork courtesy of Richard
Mace (Journey, Soul SirkUS, Jeff Scott Soto).

self titled debut album release on December 7th 2007 !
INDIGO DYING features the talents of Gisa Vatcky, a singer who has been
working with an incredible number of amazing artists. The list would include
from Andrea Bocelli to Enrique Iglesias, Placido Domingo, Melissa Etherige,
Luis Miguel, Perry Farrell, Meat Loaf and more.
The album is Gisa's debut as lead vocalist on an album and is a studio
project put together specifically to develop her talents by Frontiers
Records President Serafino Perugino and LA-based producer Fabrizio Grossi
(Glenn Hughes, Starbreaker). The goal was to find some suitable songs which
could encompass a taste for more contemporary Hard Rock and Metal songs for
a female singer so gifted as Gisa is.
Musicians include Mordechai "Mordy" Hauser (guitar), Fabrizio Grossi (bass,
orchestrations, programming, acoustic guitar), John Macaluso (drums) ex TNT,
Malmsteen and Riot, Jamie Teramo (keyboards, piano), with Tommy Denander on
additional guitars.
Some superstars singer paid tribute to the talent of Gisa! Former Helloween
singer Michael Kiske appears singing a duet in the song "Breathe in Water",
while former Malmsteen and Ring of Fire shouter Mark Boals guests on vocals
on "Superman" and "Fair Enough".
The resulting album is a fascinating and capturing experience is a musical
world that has no boundaries. From the Modern, almost Gothic influences of
"All In Never Wanted", to the eerie atmospheres of "Breathe In Water", to
the more hard rocking approach of "Island" this album has plenty to offer to
the dedicated listener.

GREEN CHRISTMAS 2007 add the best Estonian rock and metal bands to the festival's line up
In addition to some great kickass foreign bands the best Estonian rock and metal
groups will perform at the festival as well. The line-up has been perfected by four
awsome Estonian bands: TÕNIS MÄGI & ULTIMA THULE, HOUSE OF GAMES, LOITS, and RECYCLE
BIN.
Ultima Thule celebrates their 20th anniversary and for this reason they will play
their best music written in between 1987 and 2007. House of Games will release their
new album "Rise and Shine" in the 5th of November in all over Europe and in addition
they have been announced as the supporting act to the legendary US band W.A.S.P. on
their UK tour starting from October 29. Loits released their "Must album" this
summer and it immediately became a huge success. As the band members themselves say,
it is a journey of discovery on parallel, unexplored paths. At present, Recycle Bin
is writing music for their next record and therefore they only perfom at some rare
exclusive events, like Green Christmas, for example.
All in all, 15 bands will perform at the festival this year. So far, in addition to
the four Estonian bands, eight other groups have pledged to come: Paradise Lost
(UK), U.D.O. (Ger), Liquido (Ger), Mustasch (Swe), Dagoba (Fra), Caliban (Ger),

Previously known as “Atlantica” (whose debut demo gathered a great response
on the Sweden Rock Magazine) the band went through several changes which
established the band with the current lineup of Jonathan Carlemar (guitars),
Fredrik Lager (bass), Kristofer von Wachenfeldt (keyboards, Platitude),
Michael Sjöö (drums, Spearfish) and Zoran Djorem (vocals).
Signed in early 2007 on Frontiers on the basis of their last demo tape “The
Story Unfolds”, SEVEN TEARS entered the studio under the guidance of Peter
Lundin (Spearfish) and worked their asses off to came up with a KILLER debut
release that could establish the band as a sparkling reality in the Melodic
Progressive Metal scene.
“To get a deal with the Frontiers label and the opportunity to release an
album is something that we all have dreamed of since the day we first picked
up our instruments” says axeman Jonathan Carlemar, “We are very satisfied
with the songs and are looking forward to hear what people think about
them!”.
“Our music style” continues Carlemar, “can be described as Melodic Metal
with a lot of influences from the 80’s and with some prog elements. The

release of “Red Planet Boulevard”, LANA LANE’s new studio album on December
7th 2007.
The new album is a melodic rock feast that showcases Lana's legendary vocals
with timeless songwriting, all produced in a modern symphonic rock
environment. The atmosphere of the album is both spacious and grand, soaring
melodies and intimate phrases play against lush arrangements of guitar and
keyboards, all intertwining in a compelling tango of orchestration that is
pure Lana Lane.
Recorded in The Netherlands and in San Francisco, California, “Red Planet
Boulevard” combines the feeling of European precision and old world mystery
with the Bay Area's legendary style and mood that is pure Northern
California magic. The melange of locations shows in the album's production
that is both bombastic and moody, clear and heavy, intimate and extroverted.
Producer / keyboardist Erik Norlander took on bass guitar duties as well for
this release continuing in the role he played on the 2007 “Lady Macbeth”
tour. Long time collaborators, Dutchmen Peer Verschuren (guitar) and Ernst
Van Ee (drums), complete the instrumental trio in what Norlander calls "a
sort of 'Led Zeppelin' instrumentation where we have guitar, drums and a
bass playing keyboardist."
The “Red Planet Boulevard” musician line-up is indeed the most compact to
appear on a Lana Lane album, but the trio does not falter in creating the
massive Symphonic Rock sound for which Lana Lane is so well known. Walls of
guitars, landscapes of keyboards and tectonic plates of bass and drums drive
the arrangements with the energy and exuberance of a band that indeed went
straight from the road into the studio. That touring seasoning shows in the
subtle complexities of “Red Planet Boulevard”. This is a band that is
experienced and skilled in their craft all supporting a legendary vocalist
who is at the top of her game.
Twelve all original songs compose “Red Planet Boulevard”. The heavy rockers
"Into the Fire", "Capture the Sun" and "Angels and Magicians" along with the
power ballad "Jessica" harken back to Lana's 1995 debut release, “Love is an
Illusion”, while in contrast, the anthemic "Shine", "The Frozen Sea" and "No
Tears Left" have a distinctly 21st century sound that fits perfectly with
today's iPod generation. The uptempo "Stepford, USA" re-tells the story of
the quiet rural town with a dark secret, while "The Sheltering Sorrow" is a
heart wrenching ballad that is epic in scale with links back to the late 60s

songs is reprised in a grand orchestral rock style.

MAJESTIC VANGUARD announce new lead singer
Lead singer Peter Sigfridsson has decided to step down from
the front position in MV. Tommy Johansson is his replacement, according to the band
"something new; a voice with a different identity. Tommy is
a talented singer with a great heavy/power metal voice and he is definitely that
strong front man we were looking for."
Tommy joins the band immediately and we can now begin focus on upcoming shows in

" So finally, our debut album is DONE! We
been working very hard this past 5 months writing, recording and mixing our
album and we are very pleased with the result! For all of you who has been
digging our demo, you know what you're in for! In other words, more classic
sounding AOR/Westcoast! We don't know the exact release date yet but we'll
announce it as soon as we get the word from FRONTIERS!
For us as a band, these past couple of months has been quite an experience.
In february we still considered WOA just a "side project" having only a 3
song demo and here we are now 6 months later, signed to our favourite record
label with a completed debut album soon to be released! We're totally
excited about this since this is not what we'd expected (or dared to dream
about) when we first release our demo. Quite honestly, we didn't know what
to expect at all!

Gothic Metal band MACBETH reveal the new album artwork
The cover artwork for MACBETH’S new album, "SUPERANGELIC HATE BRINGERS" has been posted at the band's website. The new album will be released by Dragonheart records / SPV GmbH on November 16th. “Superangelic Hate Bringers” is the brilliant new and ambitious album by MACBETH that features ten pieces which go well beyond the confines of pure gothic metal. “Without You”, which is the source of the first video of the band, and “To My Falling Star” offer a new interpretation of gothic metal and pieces like “Watch Us Die” or “H.A.T.E.” are evidence of how much more aggressive the new sound is.

The album "Victory" has now been released in Russia and the Baltic states.
There are no extra bonus tracks on this version but the cover picture has a
Russian flag instead of the Norwegian one.
We are still searching for a new guitarist and bass player, but we are going to play
concerts soon even if we don't have any new members yet. While we are waiting
for new players we will be using some friends of the band to play concerts with us.
ROCTUM - moviestars in the making?
"The City Of The Living Dead" is a movie in production, and the subject of the film is the Finnish rock band ROCTUM.
The movie will combine elements of horror, comedy and rock'n'roll, and the filmmakers aim for a 'Rock´n´roll Highschool'
meets 'Kiss Meets Phantom Of The Phantom Of The Park' styled flick. The premiere is tentatively set for 3 December 2007.

Frontiers Records is truly excited to announce the signing of DANGER DANGER
for the release of a brand new studio album during 2008!
Formed in 1987 by Bruno Ravel and Steve West, and rounded out by Ted Poley,
Andy Timmons and Kasey Smith, it didn't take long for the band to be noticed
by Epic Records' Lennie Petze, the guy who had earlier discovered Boston,
Cyndi Lauper and Aldo Nova, to name a few. Released in 1989, the self-titled
release struck gold.
After releasing another amazingly successful album such as "Screw It" in
1991, D2 recorded a third disc for Sony entitled "Cockroach" which, due to
legal wrangling, wouldn't see the light of day until eight years later. Upon

Needing a replacement, friend and former Elektra recording artist, Canadian
Paul Laine stepped in, releasing "Dawn" as the band's independent album in
1995. Two more successful studio albums came out later: "Four The Hard Way",
the band's triumphant return to the original melodic rock roots, and "The
Return Of The Great Gildersleeves", both greeted with stellar reviews from
critics and fans the world over, further helping cement the band's
reputation.
2004 saw the official return in the line-up of the original singer Ted Poley
after an 11 year absence and this forthcoming album will be the band's first
studio effort with Ted since the "Cockroach" sessions! ""We are very excited
to be recording with Ted again, as I know our fans are, as well", says
drummer Steve West who announces that "the new one will be a true Danger
Danger record: a present for the fans who will surely be pleased". DANGER
DANGER line-up today includes also the other original member Bruno Ravel and
guitarist Rob Marcello.
The band is looking forward to enter the studio, right after the special gig
that DANGER DANGER will play in Ludwigsburg, Germany at the UNITED FORCES OF
ROCK FESTIVAL next Sunday, September the 30th, where they will perform
together with JOE LYNN TURNER, STAN BUSH, WHITE WOLF, SOUL DOCTOR, LAST
AUTUMN'S DREAM and HUMAN ZOO.

PARADISE LOST to headline GREEN CHRISTMAS 2007
Three more fantastic live bands have been confirmed to perform at the Green
Christmas rockfestival on December 21-22 in Estonia, Rakvere sports hall.
Two of the bands played at the festival a couple of years ago and the audience
begged that they would come back some day. Now the day has come - PARADISE LOST from
the United Kingdom and NEAERA from Germany have promised
to play at the festival again this year. The latter will bring CALIBAN with them.
The Gothic metal pioneers from PARADISE LOST are arguably one of the best and most
influential rock bands Britain has ever produced. Year 2007 marks Paradise Lost's
nineteenth year, and their eleventh album named "In Requiem". Over their two decade
long career, Paradise Lost have not only created and defined genres and styles, but
almost immediately transcended them.
When NEAERA played at the Green Christmas festival in 2005, the crowd literally went
crazy - it does not occur very often that a band is so full of power. The hall was
full of raw energy, the crowd hailed and the stage quivered. Now this band, who
shows no mercy, will come back to play their new songs from their latest album
"Armamentarium".
CALIBAN are back in 2007 with a new album that's going to amaze all those who are
into metalcore: "The Awakening". This album proceeds the way Caliban started long
ago. The opener, and the first single "I Will Never Let You Down", starts with the
fitting words to characterise the band: "Wake up, stand up for everything you want -
let's go, let's live".
Other bands that will play at the festival are U.D.O. and LIQUIDO from Germany,
MUSTASCH from Sweden, DAGOBA from France and HATESPHERE from Denmark. All in all 15
bands will perform at Green Christmas 2007, some of the best Estonian rock and metal
bands among them.

The Rasmus has started work on their new album, with a release date in March 2008. The title of the album is BLACK ROSES and recordings started in Helsinki on September 17, in The Rasmus own Dynasty Studio.
This time the band is working together with Desmond Child, one of the most successful songwriters and producers in the world, known for his work with Kiss, Alice Cooper, Ricky Martin, The Scorpions and many others. The Rasmus teamed up with Desmond Child in Greece and LA during the summer to write the songs for the new album together. Apart from Helsinki, recordings will also take place in Nashville, USA. Michael Wagener, producer for Metallica, Alice Cooper, Ozzy and many others, will mix the album in his studio in Nashville. Desmond Child is co-producing BLACK ROSES together with Swedish hitmaker Harry Sommerdahl.

We are absolutely devastated to bring you the news that our beloved friend and Tigertailz Bass player PEPSI TATE lost his battle with pancreatic cancer today. Pepsi passed away peacefully at 10:30 this morning, Tuesday 18th September 2007, in Holme Towers cancer hospice in Penarth Cardiff. Pepsi's wife Shan and close family were with him.

Its release is planned for November. Ynis Vitrin is a brazilian progressive metal band which released in 2005 a demo

Hevinkelium performs old Finnish hymns with a heavy metal touch, and only in Finnish. Their first album was released in 1998, and since then the fans have been asking for more. Sample: Superstition GARY HUGHES of TEN is finishing his new solo album Ten frontman Gary Hughes is currently working hard to put finishing touches to his forthcoming solo album entitled "Veritas", latin word for "Truth". The new cd is taking shape in the Arena studios in Lancashire, UK and according to Hughes, "the songs on this album are among the strongest I have ever written in my lifetime". "Veritas" feels like the natural successor to "Precious Ones", Gary Hughes' last solo output dated 1998. This time around Gary used a different array of players to enhance the diversity of the album.
